PARDON DELSA FLORES!

PARDON DELSA FLORES!

I am recommending to ALL the People of the Philippines, including President Benigno Simeon Aquino III, that ABSOLUTE PARDON be granted to MRS. DELSA FLORES.

Mrs. Flores was a lowly court interpreter who was dismissed by the Supreme Court from the service for failure to include her small market stall in her SALN.

The case where the Supreme Court dismissed Delsa FLores from the service was used by the twenty (20) senators as the yardstick or gauge in deciding to convict Renato Corona.

The common argument of the senators who convicted Corona says:

"IF DELSA FLORES WHO WAS A MERE COURT INTERPRETER WAS CONVICTED AND DISMISSED FROM THE SERVICE FOR FAILURE TO LIST IN HER SALN HER SMALL SARI-SARI STORE AT THE PANABO CITY PUBLIC MARKET, HOW MUCH MORE FOR A CHIEF JUSTICE WHO FAILED TO LIST IN HIS SALN THAT $2.4 MILLION AND THE P80.7 MILLION?"

I heard an interview with Mrs. Delsa Flores and she says she has a miserable life today. In 1997, her husband died while she was dismissed from the service, leaving her to fend for their four children.

Since then, she cannot work in any government position because the decision convicting her also prohibited her from doing so.

She claimed she was not given due process that after the investigation she was directly dismissed from the service.  She claimed she did not have a lawyer to defend her self because she did not have money to pay for a counsel.

Now, we cannot deny that her case served as the clearest contrast that the 20 senator-judges found Corona guilty.

She has just been like the People's Witness, not just a state witness, that mattered most for the conviction.

Sir Jim Sarthou, the leader of the Corona Resign (CORE) movement, can we make this a project?

If we can get Absolute Pardon for her from President P-Noy, she can now be eligible to apply for work in any government position.

LET'S CAUSE POETIC JUSTICE!

this is stupid, and exactly whats wrong with the country. why would you ask for someone who was found violating civil service laws to be pardoned and allowed back into government service, because her case was used to as a basis to impeach renato corona? just for the sake of poetic justice? why would be glorify dishonesty?

if we want a country to be better, everyone should be held accountable and the rule of law must prevail and be applied fairly; even if you are a CJ who has millions of dollars in the bank account, or a lowly stenographer who barely ekes out a living. breaking the law is breaking the law, no matter who or what you may be.

mrs. flores, mr. tupas and the senators are not telling the whole truth of the whole story in the public on mrs. flores case... during those days, while employed in the judiciary, she is also working at the municipal hall of panabo which clearly violates civil service laws.
