Require congressmen candidates first to show "track record" before disqualifying partylist groups "for lack of track record."
Anyone is NOT REQUIRED to show college diploma and NOT REQUIRED AS WELL to show "track record" to run for President, Vice-President, Senator, Congressman, Mayor, Governor, etc.
So that even a newcomer in politics can run for the highest position.
THEN, WHY THE COMELEC MUST DISQUALIFY A PARTLIST GROUP FROM RUNNING FOR LACK OF "TRACK RECORD"?
Is the right of suffrage of human beings as persons different from the right of suffrage of partylist groups as persons?
What is the difference between a regular congressman candidate on one hand when we know him to be more likely a rich person and a partylist group on the other hand when we know it to be a group of marginalized and underrepresented?
Logic dictates that "social justice" means elevating those who are inferior in status to be at par with those who have superiority in life.
So that if rich men running for congress are not required to show "track record", with more reason that the marginalized should not be required to show "track record."
I am venturing into the "equal protection clause" principle in my petition to the Supreme Court to overcome the Comelec's disqualification of ALAB NG MAMAMAHAYAG (ALAM) because in its "biased" judgment our partylist group does not have "track record."
THE ALIKES MUST BE TREATED ALIKE!
