Alab ng Mamamahayag (ALAM) is insisting on justice for its fallen colleague, Dr. Gerry "Doc Gerry" Ortega.

This ALAM insists for no less than justice can stop the conscience from crying and revolting.

The men charged as the "brains" behind killing Doc Gerry  must therefore be arrested--at all cost anywhere in the country.

"In the mind of every press-freedom-loving citizen, an assault against a journalists is an assault to all the newsmen.  Only assurance that justice is done will stop the unforgivable act of hiring gunmen to carry out a death warrant to persons perceived as enemies," ALAM president Berteni "Toto" Cataluña Causing said.

"Here we are publishing the warrant for the arrest of the former governor and his brother, Mario Joel T. Reyes, the incumbent in the town of Coron, Palawan," ALAM chairman Jerry S. Yap.

ALAM vice-chair Benny D. Antiporda called on fellow journalists to be on the lookout and help in the nationwide search for the two Reyeses.
